central location main attractions many restaurants

The hotel is very central. The cathedral is only about 3 minutes away (convenient for a quick visit). I found plenty of restaurants located nearby to suit different tastes.

The room was a bit too warm for my liking, even after adjusting the temperature.

charmed by central stay

central location easy access

the hotel's location proved excellent. its proximity to key attractions and the underground was convenient for exploration (a definite plus). i appreciated the easy airport train access and the reasonable walk from wien mitte station. i found it value for money compared to similar hotels.

i noticed the carpet was tattered and the furniture showed wear. the merged single beds were also uneven, with one feeling softer than the other.

Dining

8/10

i saw a breakfast room on the first floor and it looked very nice. the hotel offers only breakfast now (i think it no longer has the executive lounge). i also spotted a small bar area just off the reception.

Location

9/10

the hotel sits right on kärntner strasse. the underground parking is conveniently nearby for those driving. i could easily walk to the opera and concerts in about 10 to 15 minutes. the location is central and quiet.

Facilities

9/10

umbrellas are available at reception for those rainy days. the toilets, which i noted, were kept spotlessly clean (that is always reassuring). tea and coffee making facilities were provided in my room. i also had a fridge, a safe, and air conditioning.

Service

10/10

the staff was very helpful and charming. they greeted me with a smile and could not do enough for me. one detail i liked was that they kept my luggage for a few days while i took a trip.
