The location is perfect. The tram stop is very close, about 50 meters away, and this allows access to everywhere. the bus to and from Schiphol is nearby. The journey takes only 30 minutes. The major museums are also very close. It is only 100 meters to Van Gogh, Stedelijk, and Rijks museums.

The air conditioning did not work as expected. It had little effect on cooling the room. I was advised that nothing could be done. I was provided with a portable fan. That helped a little. the building IS old and rooms have a musty smell.

The hotel provided a great location near main museums. A tram station was steps away. This made access easy. The room was a good size and comfortable. I appreciated the luggage storage room.

The doors were not soundproofed enough. There was too much noise at night. The ventilation system was difficult to adjust. The room also became stuffy during the day. This was uncomfortable.
