effective soundproofing darkening shades
i stayed in a junior suite i found the soundproofing effective as i did not hear any outside noise. the darkening shades were good and helped ensure restful sleep
the selection at the breakfast buffet felt somewhat limited

dark room loud subway
The room was really dark! I almost needed a flashlight. the subway rumbles were pretty loud at night. I needed earplugs. They didn't even offer a free bottle of water. Seriously?
