the location was convenient to public transport, a definite plus.
The room was quite small. I found it hard to fully open my suitcase (it's not even that big). the bathroom wasn't great either. the toilet seemed to have issues, and it caused a bad smell in the room. i mentioned it to the staff, they told me it was from the street outside, but i didn't buy that at all.

I found a couple of things disappointing. the sink in the bathroom had a strong smell (it was quite off-putting). also, getting extra blankets was an issue. I was told they weren't available at all, which wasn't ideal since i found the room a bit cold.

the staff were nice. they provided free water, coffee, and snacks 24/7. the room cleaning service was good. i liked the balcony i had.
i experienced next to no internet for four days. a wall right next to the room's only window prevented me from getting mobile internet connectivity. it took four days to fix the wifi router.

the staff was friendly. they provided complimentary tea, coffee, water, pastries, and cookies. our room was very clean and a nice size. the bed was comfy and big. the bathroom was fully equipped with many towels and toiletries like shower cream, shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion.

the location is near plaça catalunya. la rambla, passeig de gracia, and arc de triomf are within walking distance. a metro station is about two minutes away. it is very easy to access all key tourist attractions.
