Really good Stay at a Renovated Hotel
friendly staff prestige suite
The front door staff greeted us, asked if we required help with luggage. Decor in reception, bar, and restaurant areas were fantastic. Check in on level 5 was professional and cute. The Club Lounge has age restrictions of 12 and over after 5pm. Our room, a Prestige Suite, features a separate shower and bath.
I found the revamped areas like a Workers Club, due to the oversized computer screens at check-in. The previous floral displays was missed by me, as I enjoyed the hotel.

The hotel location is close to the city centre and metro. Circular Quay is within walking distance. The hotel is conveniently situated to various attractions making city exploration easy.
Service
9/10
Staff training on service, interest, customer service, and warmth, is excellent. The Club breakfast was excellent, and the afternoon tea included chef specialties. A carvery is available at the Club Lounge during the evening.

helpful concierge secure luggage convenient location
the concierge was very helpful with directions. luggage storage was secure and efficient. the location offered easy access to shopping areas and the waterfront. the breakfast buffet included many options.
the pillows had an unpleasant odor in both rooms that we booked.

the classic king room featured a king-size bed. the room included a tv with several channels. bedside tables were on each side of the bed, each had a reading lamp, and there was also a wardrobe for storing clothes.

the gym has treadmills and stationary bikes. the hotel has multiple restaurants, each one offers a different menu. the bar serves a variety of cocktails, wines, and beers and is open until late. valet parking is available.

the hotel is near the opera house, providing easy access. the royal botanic garden is also within walking distance. st mary's cathedral is easily accessible from the hotel. several museums are in close proximity.
