adequate but fell short of expectations
poor ventilation hallway noise
The room felt quite stuffy. Ventilation was poor. i also found the lack of complimentary bottled water rather inconvenient. hallway noise was noticeable late at night, disturbing sleep. i expected better sound insulation given the price point.

mixed Feelings about this Stay
dirty coffee machine poor air conditioning
the breakfast was fine, i guess the staff were friendly.
The coffee machine clearly needed a good clean i hate when things are not working properly. the air conditioning was also pretty rubbish. The room was cold all night despite messing with the controls. it seems like the walls could use some artwork. Everything looked so sterile and white.

delicious food friendly staff lovely decor cute staff
The new dinner menu was fantastic. I tried the supreme chicken and fish with chips! The tunnocks sundae was amazing, and the chef asked if I liked it. The staff were friendly and cute. I would highly recommend this hotel. The decor was also lovely!
I noticed a slight disorganization during check-in when one person started the process, and another took over.

Amazing Stay!
central location friendly staff complimentary water heated towel rail
The hotel's location was super central, with excellent access to the train station, just a quick 5-minute walk!!! I found the staff to be friendly and cute. The front desk, bar, and breakfast teams were all very attentive. My room included complimentary water and chocolates, a really nice touch. The bed was comfy and the bathroom had a heated towel rail, which I really enjoyed.
I noticed there were several sets of stairs before reaching the elevator, and navigating them with luggage was a slight inconvenience.

Breakfast had a very good choice of options. Sausages were excellent! The breakfast team ensured all items were fresh and plentiful.

The lounge area near reception was cosy and warm. It was nice to hang out there after a day out! I made use of the spa. I really enjoyed the excellent sauna.

spacious room convenient location good breakfast clean building
my club king room was spacious. the location suited my travel plans near the city center. breakfast included many options and the food tasted good. i also appreciated the cleanliness throughout the entire building.
the hallways near the elevators felt a bit cold. the common areas could use a touch more warmth.
