mixed feelings about my stay
staff cluelessness photo id
The decor inside this place was kinda nice.
I found the staff a bit clueless about parking. A couple actually helped me figure out the free parking situation. i'm english and never been asked for photo id when checking in, anywhere. Apparently, I needed to get my kids to send a pic of my id, but they were out of the country, so no check-in and no refund either, even though i prepaid.

surprisingly positive experience
friendly staff tasty breakfast
the check-in staff were very friendly and helpful. the breakfast selection provided many choices, including bacon, sausage, and eggs. i was able to find potato scones too. the food was tasty and fresh.
my room faced the road, and the noise made it difficult to sleep. the door faced the main corridor. it was like all the noise came inside.

the hotel sits conveniently near key attractions. kelvingrove museum is only a short walk. the area is quiet, with shops and restaurants nearby, and getting around is very easy.

staff at reception were consistently polite and attentive. they made check-in simple. they provided prompt assistance when needed, i especially appreciated their smiles and willingness to assist

totally excellent stay!
tidy room comfortable beds attentive staff
i liked that room was very clean and tidy upon arrival. the beds were also quite comfortable, perfect after a long day of exploring the area. the staff were attentive and always ready to assist with any requests i had, it was a top experience!
the shower pressure was slightly low, but it was a minor inconvenience.

the standard double room featured a comfortable bed with fresh linens. the television had multiple channels available and i enjoyed the ample wardrobe space, it was great. a modern bathroom completed the room.
