Pros

Full Sky satellite package including Sports & Cinema in all rooms

Located between three national art galleries

Walking distance to multiple banking facilities and convenience stores

Cons

No on-site parking available

Check-in starts only from 4 PM

“I see a charming guesthouse set within Edinburgh's historic New Town, though reports of maintenance inconsistencies give me pause; its Georgian architecture and individually designed rooms suggest a blend of classic style and modern comfort. The location is undeniably appealing, near Edinburgh Castle and Waverley station; however, some experiences seem to fall short of expectations. Travelers should weigh the central location against potential upkeep issues.”

Central Location and Comfortable Stay

central locationeasy explorationspacious roomcomfortable bed
The location was amazing, very near to the tram and bus stop. the tram from the airport allowed easy city exploration. A car wasn't necessary. the room itself was cozy and spacious. i found the bed comfortable.
I noticed there wasn't a fridge in the room. This would have been useful for keeping drinks cold.

I found the room lovely! The location was central. Close to everywhere I wanted to see. The bed was really comfortable and I enjoyed Netflix using my account on the TV.
I found the main entrance room lock system not working sometimes .

flimsy handrailprivate bathroom
I found the lack of on-site staff a bit unsettling. It is all managed remotely, and that could be a problem in an emergency. there were quite a few steps to climb to reach my room (I think it was on the third floor) and the handrail felt flimsy. The "Small Double Room Separate Private Bathroom" was clean enough (though small), the private bathroom was down the hall. This arrangement felt inconvenient, especially at night.
