loud aircon cold atmosphere
The room looked neat. The sleek design was acceptable.
The toilet kept turning on its sensor light all night. I found that pretty annoying. the air conditioning was super loud. honestly, i felt the atmosphere was a bit cold.

the room was spacious with a comfortable bed! the bed linen felt luxurious to the touch. i even had a dyson hairdryer in my room, that was an amazing touch! beautiful staff made check-in simple and easy.
The smoking room lacked seating. Adding a bench or chairs could improve the space.

japanese breakfast was amazing!!! coffee shops, convenience stores, and restaurants are all nearby, so i was able to find anything i needed. it was super convenient.

a romantic japanese escape
japanese breakfast warm receptionist authentic experience
i found the japanese breakfast in the room so good (especially the presentation!). the receptionists greeted me warmly. the hotel's location helped me experience the city in an authentic way.
i did not find body lotion provided when i first checked in. i requested it twice.

the hotel had a great location near nijo castle. kyoto gyoen national garden was also easily accessible. a subway station nearby made longer trips easier too.
