A Satisfactory Stay
perfect location convenient transportation helpful staff small space missing storage tiny bathroom
The location was really perfect I found. It was right in the Gion District. The subway and bus stops are close which is super convenient.
There was no space to open my suitcase. I had to open it in the corridor. There was no cupboard to place clothes. The bathroom was tiny. I dropped things in the toilet.

The location seemed like a dream, nestled right in the heart of the gion district. our room had everything we needed for a restful stay. i really adored the hand made coffee mugs and unique whiskey glasses. They were such a tender touch.
the soundproofing wasn't great. i could hear noises from outside my door quite clearly. also, the room had a slight smell, almost like mould or sewage, after the air freshener wore off. the narrow street made navigating with big luggage difficult.

mixed feelings about the stay
daily cleaning no closet
The lack of daily room cleaning was a problem for me. i only got fresh towels. The small garbage can never got emptied. also, there was no real closet space. living out of my suitcase for several days became a real hassle

amazing gion stay
perfect location modern reception attentive staff great balcony
this hotel's location made sightseeing easy i could drop off items without disrupting my day it was close to shops restaurants and transport everything was clean and modern the reception area was nice too the staff took care of luggage before check in and brought it up to my room upon check in i loved that. the hotel had a tiny balcony for fresh air and temple views the ac kept me cool from the sun
the room was too small for our luggage we rearranged furniture to make it fit it was difficult to move around

the standard twin room featured comfortable twin beds plus space for luggage it even had a small balcony offering a view of nearby temples the air conditioning worked perfectly. the bathroom was pristine including nice amenities

breakfast is available near the hotel although not served directly on site i found several coffee shops open early at 9 am offering asian-style breakfasts around the area. the hotel is close to various restaurants

the staff provided excellent service and promptly assisted with luggage storage before check-in they delivered our bags to the room and also supported the hands-free luggage forwarding service ensuring everything went smoothly. all staff members were very friendly

the hotel location is near gion district close to subway and bus stops this made access convenient. a coin laundry facility was available . the surroundings had beautiful nighttime illumination

The hotel location was great. It stood beside the busyness of Gion, so nice. Beds were very comfortable. I found the room design nice. Laundry facilities existed and these were great!
There was no closet space. I found this inconvenient because I stayed for seven nights. The small garbage can was not emptied every day. It would have been a better experience if they did.
