The hotel features temple inside. It creates an exclusive atmosphere. The lobby smells calming. I used the hot bath, a relaxing addition to my stay. Its location near Nishiki market is convenient.

the location is pretty convenient. it's close to some shops and restaurants so it's easy to get around.
our room felt smaller than expected. i found some mildew growing near the bathroom wall, made me worry a bit about the cleanliness. the staff moved us to a different room, but it still had a little mildew.

the staff were very helpful and friendly i could ask them anything. the location is central with easy access to nearby markets and shopping areas. i found the onsen very clean and relaxing after a day of sightseeing.
the room size was smaller than expected i had limited space for luggage. the in-room safe was also too small to accommodate larger electronics.
