mixed feelings about my stay
dusty areas indifferent staff
I found some aspects disappointing . the room cleanliness was subpar. I noticed dust in corners and under furniture. also, the bed felt hard and uncomfortable. the staff at reception seemed indifferent, particularly when i requested extra towels. They were not very helpful.

the room size was good for a hotel in this area. the staff were helpful and cute. i also liked that the onsen was tattoo friendly.
the room design seemed average. the common areas were not that useful and felt more ornamental. also, i was not allowed to eat or drink in the lounge area.

fantastic stay!
great spa perfect location
I found the spa facilities inside to be great. I used them daily after exploring. it was a perfect way for me to relax without extra cost. the location was also great as it was easy to get around all parts of the city.
the stone bench around the sink in my room had not been cleaned. i had to clean it myself upon arrival, a bit disappointing.

The hotel is conveniently situated near the karasume-oike subway station. This made getting around very easy. i discovered several nice stores around the area including convenience stores, breakfast shops, and pharmacies. the overall location is superb.

The hotel offers a 24-hour library and a tatami resting area. these are very cozy spaces to relax after a long day of sightseeing. I really liked this amenity. there is a famous bread shop and yakiniku place that are very close.

helpful staff great onsen good selection convenient location
the staff spoke excellent english, proving helpful with restaurant recommendations and taxi arrangements. the onsen was great. i found the breakfast to be the best i had with a good selection. the location of the hotel was very convenient.
the rooms was noticeably smaller compared to the images, somewhat disappointing.

the hotel is located centrally, near many tourist attractions, a variety of restaurants, and convenient public transport. the vicinity also provides easy access to the main train station. i could easily explore different areas from here.
