The hotel upgraded our room upon arrival. I was very happy about this. The staff was friendly and helpful . The breakfast offered fresh food each morning.
The bathroom window was frosted. This seemed out of place next to the kitchen area. I noticed a bad smell in that bathroom. The shower door would not stay shut.

The bed was great. The shower, strong.
The hotel advertised laundry facilities, but they were only available in two units. This was a major inconvenience as i chose this hotel specifically for that reason and the walk to a laundromat was long and steep

kind staff good location
The location is amazing. Just a short walk takes you to the castle and many restaurants.. the staff was kind and professional. i especially appreciated the good air conditioning during my vacation, keeping me comfortable in my room facing the backyard.
Unfortunately, there was a lack of coffee in the room. I had to request coffee capsules and was told that only two were offered per day. this was quite inconvenient, as i enjoy having coffee readily available in the mornings.

Really good Stay in Historic District
friendly staff excellent shower
The staff ensured I had all I needed and were approachable. The shower was fantastic, and the decor matched the local area. The air conditioning worked well. It was excellent to have in the room. I found quality breakfast and coffee shops close by.
The walks back to the hotel are long and uphill. This can be tiring after a full day. I think it is good to know this in advance.

an okay experience
useful location nearby restaurant bathroom smell broken door
the location proved useful for seeing the sights. i could walk to st jorge castle and the pantheon easily. there were also plenty of places for food really nearby. tram 12 stops right by the hotel and it made things easier.
the bathroom had a frosted window i did not like. it felt strange and wasnt in keeping with the kitchen nearby. i also noticed a bad smell coming from it. the shower door was broken, so it wouldn't stay shut properly.

glass walls poor lighting
The location was good.
The bathroom lacked privacy because of its glass walls. These walls made me uncomfortable. there was no wardrobe in the room. The lighting was poor as well.
