excellent stay near castle district
quick room reallocation late night snacks helpful reception comfortable bed
we had booked a room with single beds. upon arrival, a room with a double bed was allocated. the staff quickly provided another room, and it had twin beds as requested! after 10 pm, the hotel offered rolls and kept the bar open. it was a nice touch since the neighborhood restaurants were closed.
The hotel could benefit from slightly better soundproofing. I could hear some noise from the hallway at times.

the hotel is conveniently located near many attractions. it has easy access to the castle district and fisherman's bastion. a short walk takes you to the chain bridge, offering great connectivity to many parts of the city.

excellent stay close to attractions
perfect location scenic walks accommodating staff breakfast variety
the hotel is near Fisherman's Bastion and Buda Castle. this location is ideal for walking and sightseeing. i extended my stay and the staff arranged another room. i APPRECIATED the breakfast variety. the location is perfect for couples who enjoy scenic walks.

breakfast included a nice variety of salad fixings and meats. i found cheeses, breakfast fruits, yogurts, baked tomatoes, baked beans, and eggs. there WERE baked goods and breads also.

the staff were friendly and helpful, especially during my extended stay. the manager was helpful, and daniel in the kitchen was fantastic. complimentary bath robes and extra towels WERE provided quickly upon request.

my room was spacious and quiet, offering a comfortable stay. the room featured high ceilings, a comfortable bed, and a large, modern bathroom. the hotel HAS 27 rooms on two floors.

large trees hill edges
The room faced a backyard with large trees. Walking along the hill edges provided views of the Danube. I found great walking inside the citadel streets.
The hotel provided only one bottle of water upon arrival. It was not replenished.

disappointing room and service issues
damp smell unhelpful staff
the room i got was not what i expected. it smelled like a damp basement, even with the air conditioning on. i also found the staff not very helpful. there was a particularly noisy group that disturbed the peace, and the staff did not seem to address it effectively. it really impacted my stay.
