the reception staff assisted with an early check-in. check-in screens are available and staff help with using them. there's a luggage storage. the room was clean. the restaurant served dragon afternoon tea, a great experience for 888 thb for two.
corridors emitted a musty odor, likely from the air-conditioning. limited soundproofing allowed street noise affected my sleep.

Excellent Chinatown Stay

pool table afternoon tea
The hotel included a free pool table. I appreciated this amenity. The restaurant served really nice meat and vegetarian skewers, I ate them three times. The dragon afternoon tea was a fantastic experience. The price was 888 THB for 2 people. I found a free water re-filling station near the restaurant.
The corridors had a persistent musty odor, which suggested an issue with the air-conditioning system. The street outside is quite lively, and limited soundproofing made it difficult to sleep at times.

The location was acceptable. It was close to many shops.
I booked first two nights, a service stated as non-changeable and non-refundable. By mistake I added an extra night, I requested to remove it a few days later. The hotel accepted the extra night, but then refused to remove it. It seems biased.

uneven stay near chinatown

musty odor limited soundproofing
I was a bit disappointed with a couple of things . the first issue was the strong musty odor in the corridors. It made me wonder if the air conditioning system had problems. secondly, the soundproofing wasn't great. I could hear a lot of noise from the street, hard to get a good night's sleep (earplugs, anyone?).
