Acceptable stay, some issues noted
poor soundproofing missing sign
The soundproofing was not good at all. I could hear conversations from other rooms, which disrupted my sleep. the pastries near the lift were supposedly only for check-in guests. I was told off for taking one, even though there was no sign indicating this. This.

Excellent stay
firm mattress spacious room excellent view
I appreciate the king-size bed, it featured a firm mattress, as I requested before my arrival. The room proved spacious and offered an excellent view. I also found the hotel's location quite convenient to iconic tourist attractions such as the Casa Mila and Casa Batho.. Cafes, restaurants and shopping outlets surrounded the hotel. The buffet breakfast was also satisfactory.
The bathroom setup uses glass with a sliding screen. The bathroom was somewhat dated. In general, the hotel seems a little tired.

great location modern rooms
i loved the location a ton of restaurants are right outside. casa mila and casa batlló are close to the hotel too. the rooms felt modern and comfortable. i especially liked that we had connected rooms since i was traveling with my teenagers.
housekeeping did not refill the conditioner one day. i expected it to be brought to the door, instead of me having to go to reception to get it. i questioned if it was a 4-star experience

small room no ventilation
the room i got, a basic double room, was a joke. it was small and offered almost no space to store my clothes. the window faced an internal area. if i opened it, anyone walking through the hallways on the same floor could see directly inside since it was all glass, without any privacy protection. there was no way to let in air and light without being completely exposed.

central position clean room friendly staff
i found the hotel in a great central position, perfect for exploring. the room was nice and neat (i loved the décor). the breakfast options were plentiful and delicious. the staff were consistently professional and friendly, which i appreciated.
the soundproofing was not great, and i did experience some noise disturbances. i could hear quite a bit of noise from the hallway, especially early in the mornings.
