the hotel has a metro and rossio station right outside. it was easy to buy a daily ticket for metros, trams, and buses at €6.80. the location made tourist attractions easily accessible. breakfast offered varied and delicious options each day.

the towels in the bathroom seemed a little old and rough for a hotel of this standard.

The staff was helpful and polite. Rooms were serviced well. Cleanliness was maintained. Complimentary sparkling wine was offered all day. Breakfast included excellent options. I enjoyed the mini bottle of port upon arrival. I also liked the Portuguese tarts and bottled water.

My room was a bit small and the bed wasn't very comfortable.

flawless stay!

central location excellent buffet art deco rooftop cocktails

The hotel is centrally located, near a main train station. the breakfast buffet on the rooftop restaurant was excellent! i loved the art deco decor. It was like stepping into the 1920s with modern luxuries. the bar on the top floor does excellent cocktails with an excellent view.

I found that the pillows were not very comfortable. the bedding seemed tight, which restricted movement during the night. This was slightly annoying

square view thoughtful gesture complimentary drinks

The welcome was lovely and erased all travel fatigue. my room was upgraded to a square-view one, a very nice touch (i felt charmed!). i found the traditional Portuguese pastries served with tea particularly thoughtful. the room was very clean and well maintained. All drinks including water and coffee were complimentary.

the gym did not offer a large variety of equipment.

The breakfast was quite disappointing. The selection felt limited. The hot food options were nearly identical each day, so I quickly grew tired of it. My room, a Suite Rossio Square View, had a noisy air conditioning unit. It made it hard to sleep at night, even with earplugs. I mentioned it to the staff, but the problem persisted throughout my stay. They did not offer a solution.

remembering my name each morning. catarina showed us to the room, and she even left a small bouquet of flowers on my pillow. i woke up each morning feeling like a princess.
