4-star hotel with 180-degree panoramic views of Sydney Harbour Bridge and city skyline

Rooms

The Sydney Boulevard Hotel offers rooms that are larger than most hotels in Sydney, with many providing 180-degree panoramic views of Sydney Harbour Bridge and the city skyline. Family suites include generous living areas with separate sleeping quarters, while deluxe rooms feature a spa bath with shower. The hotel's upper-level harbour view rooms overlook the Royal Botanic Garden and the Opera House.

Dining

Seasons Cafe serves a buffet breakfast with hot and cold dishes, including vegetarian Indian and Chinese cuisine options. The hotel offers 24-hour room service with a range of dishes available at any hour. A bar is open for happy hour from 5 to 7pm with a selection of drinks.

Business and Events

The Pillarless Grand Ballroom accommodates up to 450 guests for weddings and corporate meetings. The signature event space, Twenty Five, sits on the 25th floor and provides city views for smaller gatherings. A dedicated events team assists with meeting arrangements, and the business centre offers fax and photocopying services.

Wellness and Fitness

A fully equipped gym with panoramic city views is available for guest use. The hotel also has a sauna and a steam room for relaxation after a workout. These facilities are located on-site and accessible to all guests.

Location

The hotel is a 5-minute walk from Hyde Park and 10 minutes from the Royal Botanic Gardens. Kings Cross train station is 800 metres away, and the Sydney Opera House is less than a 10-minute drive. Darling Harbour and the Sydney CBD are within walking distance, with bus stops directly opposite the hotel.

Highlights

Rooms: 180-degree panoramic harbour views from key rooms

Dining: Seasons Cafe buffet breakfast with hot and cold dishes

Business: Pillarless Grand Ballroom for 450 guests

Wellness: Sauna, steam room, and gym with city views

“This hotel stands out for its prime position, providing quick routes to key Sydney locales. I noted some critiques regarding the rooms' upkeep, but the spaciousness and panoramic views from select rooms could be a deciding factor for many; its signature event space with city views is a plus.”

Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
The Sydney Boulevard Hotel is often praised for its excellent location, placing guests within easy walking distance of various city attractions, including a 10-minute walk to Museum Station or the Art Gallery and less than half an hour to the Opera House through the Botanic Gardens. Many guests appreciate the spacious rooms and some have noted the nice views of the harbor area. While some have found the hotel's online photos a bit misleading, the convenience to Stanley St cafes, just a short walk away, and the easy access to parking at the rear of the hotel are definite pluses.

great location coffee shops misleading photos bad soundproofing
i really loved the location. it was easy to walk to hyde park. i found some great coffee shops right across the street. also, the room has a kettle, so i could make coffee.
the photos online can be a little confusing. the pictures of standard rooms are actually harbour view pics. also, the soundproofing is very bad, i could hear people outside and in other rooms.

Superb Hotel Experience!

clean room great view
I stayed in a room with two twin beds, perfect for moving around. The room had a nice, clean look with amazing views. A Woolworths grocery store is just steps away from the hotel. The sauna was nice and the gym had many utilities. I was delighted.
The water pressure was quite low, actually. This was a minor inconvenience, yet still impacted my overall experience. I hope it will be fixed.
Location
9/10
The location is ideal, offering convenient access to a supermarket, restaurants, and public transportation. The hotel is a 30-minute walk from the harbour and a short walk to restaurants for dinner. It's a really quiet spot.
Service

The staff was very friendly. I received excellent service at check-in. Housekeeping was excellent. Staff members were helpful and attentive. I really appreciate the staff team. I loved them!
