public drug useopen parking lot
The Sticky Wicket, a restaurant inside the premises, had mice running around while I was eating. The waitress was unconcerned and claimed it was normal for old buildings. Public drug use near the building also made me uneasy. I also found the off-site paid parking in an open lot undesirable. It was hardly worth paying for.

The hotel staff was very attentive. Our room was cleaned daily. Towels were replaced. The location is good. It is an easy walk to many shops.
The bathroom fan. Reception sent someone. He could not fix it. The air conditioning turned on and off in the night. Street noise was loud until late AM. It was on the fifth floor.

Mediocre Stay, Some Issues

dark room
My recent experience was not entirely satisfactory. The room I got was quite dark. It faced a blank wall, which significantly reduced natural light. It started early each morning.
