mixed feelings about this hotel
no in-room phone inexistent room service
i found some issues that bothered me. the room lacked a phone for easy contact with reception, so i needed my own phone, a frustrating automated system, and an extension number. also, the room service felt nonexistent. my teacup remained unwashed after cleaning. bottled water wasn't automatically refilled just because the old one wasn't completely empty.

amazing stay!
nice juicer pleasant experience good value
i found the hotel easy to reach and my room was a nice size the bed offered great comfort the availability of a juicer with breakfast added to my morning. the breakfast was great with lots of fresh options lots of cafes and restaurants were also within walking distance near the river it was good value for the price.
the gym was ok but it could have a little more equipment it would be nice to have a rowing machine but it is ok for a hotel.

My room included blackout curtains and a comfortable bed. The breakfast offered many options to choose from. I liked the sauna. It was great (it was a wonderful way to relax!).
The reception seemed understaffed. Guests were waiting in line for long periods. There was no phone in my room. I had to go down to the reception each time I needed something.

a few issues impacted the stay
blood spot wrong room
i was given the wrong room number initially. i also found a spot of blood on the bathroom floor plus hair on the pillow and in the bed. i was too tired from travel to report it (probably should have).

this hotel clean, new, and perfect for family. it is next to hafen park for walks and children play. staff nice and helpful. food generous portion sizes and delicious.
there no in-room phone to contact reception, this frustrate me. i had use my mobile, go through automated system, and enter extension number.

the hotel location allows walks in nearby parks. river walks are also very nearby. tram number eleven passes by the train station and reaches the hotel.
