clean roomattentive staff
The complimentary buffet breakfast was amazing (the fresh fruit selection was extensive!). The room was super clean when i arrived. I stayed for a whole week and the attentive staff ensured i had everything i needed. The hotel safe area too.
The hotel does not have microwaves in every room, which can be inconvenient for longer stays.

wonderful stay in san jose
huge roomexcellent showerfresh breakfastvaried equipment
I had a HUGE room with an excellent shower. wifi worked great. I had no issues connecting. the breakfast buffet offered many choices and everything tasted fresh. the gym had lots of varied equipment. It wasn't just cardio equipment.
the body wash, shampoo, and conditioner provided were a bit substandard, a minor inconvenience.

the hotel is near barrio escalante, a nice area to explore. it is a convenient distance from the city center. the hotel offers nice forest scenery, a good addition for a city hotel.

the pool area included a jacuzzi, a blissful retreat after a long day. the staff was good, specifically alonso and anthony, two servers who worked hard and dedicated themselves to providing perfect service!!!

My stay had a couple of issues. The air conditioning in the room didn't work well. It was either too cold or not effective. the noise level was quite high, especially at night. I could hear other guests easily, disturbing my sleep and rest.

the breakfast buffet provided many options.
the air conditioning in my room did not function well, causing discomfort as i slept without pajamas in an attempt to stay cool (i did report this to the front desk, but it was never fixed). additionally, i had to almost beg to get a refrigerator for the room, as they said only a few were available despite the space for one being present.
