Really good Boutique Experience
classic decor comfortable bed excellent service cheerful staff
The building showcased beautiful, warm, and classic decor including tasteful Christmas decorations. Our king room was quite large. The bed offered super comfort for restful sleep. Breakfast had many choices and attentive service. The staff members were always cheerful and ready to assist with any requests.
The gym would benefit from additional equipment. I noticed only basic machines and would appreciate free weights.

The hotel features a rooftop area great for relaxation. There is also a jacuzzi (it could use some updating) that offers a space to unwind after a day of exploring. The hotel's historic landmark status is evident in its thoughtful transformation.

The restaurant possesses a nice old colonial style. I found the food is quite delicious and beautifully prepared. A la carte breakfast offers a very good selection and is well-cooked. I especially enjoyed the ambiance during dinner.

The bathroom was large and included a big shower with hot water. The toiletries smelled lovely (I liked that there was a lot!). The provided bed and pillows insured the best sleep ever. The hotel rooms are unique.

quality service at really good hotel
helpful staff excellent service amazing option inside courtyard
the staff helped with our bags from the car to my room. i booked a massage a day before and secured an appointment. the massage therapist provided excellent service for both my daughter and me. the restaurant has amazing options and the setting in the inside courtyard is Good.
the hotel charged us for a taxi that never came. i found this to be VERY disappointing.

the architecture appears colonial both outside and inside. the hotel sits downtown. the staff proves very friendly, efficient, and helpful.

decent stay but some improvements needed
dated furniture slow breakfast
the room i booked, a beautiful double room two double beds, felt a bit dated. some of the furniture showed wear and tear. the bathroom fixtures could use an update too. also, the breakfast service was slow, it took a while to get our order each morning. i found it frustrating.

rooftop area helpful staff taxi charge missed taxi
the rooftop area was great. (i especially liked the hot tubs) the front desk staff suggested dinner upon our late arrival before kitchen closing, thoughtful. i stayed for a single night.
the taxi i arranged through the hotel never showed up. i still got charged for the taxi service (very disappointing).

charming hotel stay
charming ambiance excellent meal good location
The restaurant provided excellent meals and the staff was excellent from reception to housekeeping. the hotel is charming, with warm ambiance. I will stay there again. the hotel location is good for exploring. it is a great boutique hotel with about 40 bedrooms in total.
the hotel arranged a taxi for pickup that never arrived and i was still charged. i found this quite disappointing.
