cozy stay
unique decoration family names homemade jams
i liked the unique decoration and names of the rooms, each room honors family members. breakfast included pastries and homemade jams, i liked it. the location is near a metro station and , made moving around easy.
the garden needs attention, i did not find it inviting.

stylish palace stay
friendly staff amazing art
the staff was very friendly. the dining area struck me as light and airy. i thought the art on the walls and the frieze on the ceiling were especially beautiful. i appreciated the amazing art.

Staying in a palace dating back to 1883 was special! the building showcases beautiful, well-preserved architecture. i loved the private courtyard, a peaceful retreat connected to another building. the breakfast had AMAZING options and the service was great in every area. From the front desk to the restaurant.

the hotel sits conveniently equidistant between graça and the city center. metro access is a short walk away, offering quick connections. a brisk fifteen-minute walk also gets you to the city center if you want to explore.

the hotel boasts a sympathetically restored 19th-century palace setting. a private, shaded garden provides a serene escape for relaxation. i enjoyed delicious dinners and drinks in beautiful surroundings, complemented by attentive waiters.

Our junior suite featured baroque ornate ceilings and floral covings. the king-size bed with portuguese-made down pillows offered superb comfort. a private balcony allowed us to enjoy the aroma of coffee roasting nearby. It was good!

Mixed feelings about the stay
dirty curtains industrial food
My experience was not great. The room felt quite sterile. It was very basic. The cleanliness was lacking. The curtains were dirty at the bottom (A detail I noticed immediately). The breakfast was abundant, i must admit, but the food quality seemed average and industrial. I expected something fresher, something more artisanal. Staff seemed procedural.
