Really good Experience
attentive staff cozy rooms perfect location breakfast options
The staff seemed always attentive. Rooms are cozy with a complimentary mini bar. The hotel has a perfect location near Matthias Church and Fisherman's Bastion. Breakfast presented many options. The Sri Lankan Dilmah tea was selection.
The ground floor room lacked privacy and made daytime coffee difficult.

Breakfast has great variety and provides excellent value. The hotel's restaurant offers a menu for both lunch and dinner with delicious choices. The chef produces food at Michelin Star level.

The hotel is located on Castle Hill in Buda. This area has views of the Parliament Building and sunset views from opposite sides. Saint Matthias Church is within few hundred meters. The river is a walk of 10-15 min.

The staff works hard to meet every need and nothing seemed too much. Check-in was quick, the team provided assistance with travel plans. Airport transportation was available and easily arranged.

loud noise old curtains
The AC made a horribly loud noise. I am not the first to complain about this issue. The hotel offered a different room only after I showed a video of the noise. They wanted me to run the AC at a lower fan speed and did not accept the fault. The curtains need replacement as they are impossible to sleep after 5:30 AM if you prefer a dark room.

charming dining room efficient staff members danube cruise old furniture flat pillows dark room
the breakfast was good. it was in a charming dining room and conveniently lasted until 11:00. staff members were kind and efficient. they helped me book a danube cruise and a train.
the curtains in the room need to be changed. it was impossible to sleep after 5:30 am if you prefer a dark room. pillows were completely flat with no cushion. the bed linen had an odour maybe because of old furniture.
