central location free parking
i was charmed by the hotel's proximity to hallgrímskirkja. free on-site parking was a huge perk since i had a car and drove around a little.
The sulphur smell of the hot water was noticeable upon arrival. I opened windows to address it

the location was great for shopping. museums and eating were close by. i found the staff very nice and helpful.
the bathroom lacked supplies. i also felt i did not get the value for my money. there was always a concern about parking.

the location was central , right by the church , and made getting around easy. i walked to attractions and tour pick-up points. my room had a small balcony , it overlooked internal courtyards and provided good light.
soundproofing between the toilets and rooms was not perfect.

the location is superb being right across from Hallgrímskirkja i found several attractions within walking distance the late check-in was smooth i had no problems staff gave good local recommendations
breakfast had a limited selection i expected more variety

the breakfast area includes a coffee machine and a selection of teas pastries are available daily in the morning and there are several restaurants within a short walk.

the reception staff provided helpful information on local tours they assisted with travel plans and they even loaned out swimming towels upon request the staff was always available and attentive.
