Acceptable Stay with Notable Issues

substandard air conditioning uncomfortable bed
The location suited my needs well.
The air conditioning was substandard. The room remained cold. I also found the bed configuration unacceptable. Despite requesting a double bed well in advance, I was given two mattresses pushed together. This arrangement was not comfortable. There was a noticeable gap between the mattresses.

street noise inconsistent shower
the location was acceptable, close to restaurants and shops.
I was disappointed by the lack of soundproofing. I could hear street noise all night. the shower temperature was inconsistent. It fluctuated between hot and cold without warning. the minibar was not refilled daily. This was a significant inconvenience.

the breakfast had a lot of choices.
The climate control was a disaster. The room was constantly cold. the air conditioning made a noise, i could not sleep. i requested a room with a double bed well in advance. The mattresses were pushed together. there was no topper. I kept falling between the mattresses.

Amazing Hotel Experience

The sheets were VERY comfortable. I enjoyed the extensive breakfast, including many options. The library offered a quiet space. Fresh towels arrived everyday.
I found it difficult to adjust the air conditioning. It seemed to be centrally controlled. This made it hard to sleep well.

The breakfast offered a wide variety. It was wonderful. (i especially enjoyed the fresh pastries). the room was large and very clean. the staff was genuinely kind and helpful .
The air conditioning system seemed centrally controlled, and i couldn't turn it off. It was a bit noisy at night.
