Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Hotel Ceilidh-Donia is frequently praised for its excellent breakfast, offering both a buffet with cereals, fruits, and pastries, and a menu of hot dishes like Eggs Benedict and a full Scottish breakfast. Guests often highlight the clean and spacious rooms with comfortable beds, with some mentioning lovely views from the third floor overlooking Arthur's Seat. The hotel's location provides convenient access to the city center, with a bus stop nearby for quick transport, though the walk to the Royal Mile is a pleasant 30 minutes; free on-street parking is available, however, spaces may be limited. The rooms are decorated in a traditional English style, and though some guests have noted that the bathrooms are a bit small, they are kept clean and functional.

a wonderful stay near holyrood park

fabulous hostwonderful breakfastemission zone
kevin and susan were fabulous hosts, they provided lots of information about the city. they even made us notes on a map for our tours. in the morning they cooked a wonderful breakfast for us.
the location is near the low emission zone, which could be a problem. there is no car park on site, only street parking for residents. finding a suitable parking space was somewhat challenging.
