lovely quiet getaway
helpful staff amazing views
the staff was very nice and helpful. i received complimentary drinks upon arrival, welcome after the walk to the hotel (the stairs were a bit of a climb!). the terrace had amazing views, and i spent a good deal of time there.
the room's temperature was set to a fixed value. a sign explained it was 'due to economical reason'. while an electric heater was provided, it felt disappointing in a 4-star hotel.

the reception staff provided excellent support. one lady in particular was very helpful with everything i needed. the restaurant staff was also friendly. (i particularly enjoyed the attentiveness!)

The room was quite tidy and nice.
The room temperature seemed fixed, supposedly for economic reasons. It was quite annoying. They did provide an electric heater though, not quite what I expect from a four-star hotel. Sarcastic.

the room temperature was permanently set to 20 degrees celsius. a sign explained it was for 'economical reasons', but it was uncomfortable. an electric heater was provided, but that felt cheap for a four-star hotel.

lukewarm shower water unacceptable price
The location proved acceptable for visiting the Buda Castle area.
The shower water was barely lukewarm. This is unacceptable for the price I paid per night. I informed the staff and they fixed it for the second night. A hot shower is a basic expectation.

unfilled buffet malfunctioning coffee machine
The breakfast. oh, the breakfast! it was supposed to be a buffet, but it felt more like a rummage sale. Items depleted quickly and weren't replenished. the coffee machine seemed to have a personal vendetta against me, splattering lukewarm brown water everywhere except my cup. and let's not forget the 'fresh' pastries. I suspect they were leftovers from the mesolithic era!!!

convenient location friendly staff tasty dishes
The location near the castle district proved very convenient. public transportation offered easy access to pest. the staff were friendly, providing an early check-in because my room was ready. i also enjoyed the tasty dishes at the riso restaurant.
the room temperature seemed to be fixed, a minor inconvenience.
