clean room bathroom creams good location noisy bar late noise no air conditioning
the room was very clean, i appreciated that. the bathroom had nice smelling creams. the hotel location was good, a short walk to the park. there were many shops nearby.
the hotel sits above a bar, i didn't expect that. it got noisy late at night. there was no air conditioning, so the room got quite warm.

the decor was beautiful and the staff were friendly. the location near the park was convenient for walks into town. i appreciated the early cooked breakfast arranged by the staff both mornings.
i noticed there was no front desk or lobby, only a small door for hotel access. it felt a little unusual compared to other hotels i have visited.

I had a double room park view. The views across the park WERE beautiful. The hearty scottish breakfasts were also a highlight.
The parking was difficult though the street parking was quite expensive!

festive decoration helpful staff delicious breakfast
the hotel decorations really stood out it felt festive. the staff were helpful assisting us with our luggage upon arrival. breakfast was delicious it included a scottish breakfast we enjoyed thoroughly.
the music from the bar continued until 1am each night. it made sleeping difficult since our room was above the bar. earplugs were not enough to block the noise entirely
