Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Auberge Saint-Pierre is praised for its prime location close to the port, lower town, and upper town, making it ideal for exploring Quebec City. Guests appreciate the spacious rooms, some of which feature comfortable beds and well-equipped bathrooms, also a kitchen area and sitting area. The hotel's unique and well-decorated facilities, including a station with free tea and coffee, contribute to a pleasant experience; though some have noted the absence of a closet in some rooms, which can be inconvenient. Its location is convenient to Quebec's points of interest, restaurants, and Gare du Palais train station.

I liked the friendly staff. They really made an effort. my room had a kitchenette and a sitting area. the breakfast buffet was good. i found that the valet parking was really convenient. It made arrival and departure pretty smooth.
the coffee machine in the lobby was often out of order. i did need my coffee. also, i felt a hotel directory in the room would be very helpful. it would provide quick access to important contact information.

Acceptable Stay with Room for Improvement

faulty safe unreliable keys
My stay had a few snags. The safe in my room wasn't working upon arrival. It took two attempts to get it fixed. Then, the room keys stopped working not just once, but twice. To top it off, one day I returned to find my room hadn't been serviced. It seems the staff thought I'd put the 'do not disturb' sign out by mistake. The overall experience was a bit of a letdown because of several avoidable issues.

great location unique facilities cramped room rude staff
the location was great close to restaurants and shops but not in the most touristy area. the facilities were unique and well decorated with lots of space on the main floor to hang out
the room was cramped with little space for pretty much anything. staff like cleaners and servers were rude one of them got into the elevator before i could even get out and the servers did not even say goodbye or thank you as we left the restaurant
