small room street noise
the staff were friendly and helpful, acceptable.
The room i booked (classic king room) was quite small. the noise from the street was also a real issue. I could hear everything (even late at night). the air conditioning didn't work properly. It was stuck on heat.

small room inadequate soundproofing
The location was acceptable. It allowed relatively easy access to nearby attractions.
The room i occupied, the 'cosy queen room', proved significantly smaller than anticipated. additionally, the noise insulation was inadequate. Sounds from both the street and adjacent corridors disrupted the tranquility i expected. i found the lack of soundproofing unacceptable for a hotel of this supposed caliber.
