The check-in and check-out were easy with the machines. i also liked the locker for luggage storage. It was convenient.

The breakfast was really disappointing. it was a basket with broth, egg, and a piece of bread. It was better to eat outside the hotel. the staff wasn't cute upon entry or exit.

the location was really ideal. it was very easy to walk and get to food and shopping. attractions and transportation were also close. as a solo traveler, i felt safe (even late at night). the luggage room was also a lifesaver as i was able to hold luggage before and after checkin and out.

the english skills of staff members weren't great.

quiet alleyjacuzzi shower

the location was superb, nestled in a quiet alley. it allowed easy access to shopping areas. the subway and the gion district were a short walk away. i especially loved the best jacuzzi shower i could ever have. breakfast was a bonus.

the hotel's location was convenient to many shops and restaurants.

the room felt small and basic. the breakfast was particularly disappointing, i found very few options and limited quality. it seemed like a cost-cutting measure, and i expected more for the price i paid.

bland breakfastpoor soundproofing

i must say, the breakfast was quite underwhelming. it consisted of a few pre-packaged items that tasted rather bland. also, the room lacked proper soundproofing. i could hear noise from the hallway and adjacent rooms late into the night. it really impacted my sleep.
