Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Premier Hotel Cabin Shinjuku is a popular choice for exploring Shinjuku, with many guests appreciating its central location, putting them within a short walk of the train station, Golden Gai, and the Godzilla Head. The breakfast receives consistent praise for its diverse offerings. Rooms are modern and clean, equipped with amenities like a kettle and fridge, and while some found the standard double room perfectly sized for a solo traveler, others have noted the limited space and lack of hooks for hanging clothes in the rooms.

Excellent Location and Wonderful Staff

convenient locationfriendly staffmissing hooks
the location is quite good with only a short walk to the heart of the district and train stations. the limousine bus from the airport drops off and picks up about five minutes from the hotel. the breakfast was excellent and the restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. i appreciated the lobby scale for luggage.
i found no hooks except in the bathroom. i could have used additional hooks for hanging things like a purse or coat near the door.
Location
9/10
the hotel is conveniently located within a ten-minute walk from both shin-okubo station and the main station. many shops, restaurants and convenience stores surround the building, so there is easy access to necessities and dining. it is a great area.
Facilities
8/10
i found an easy way to check laundry machine availability directly on the room's tv. the hotel offers a complimentary ice machine for guest use, a very nice addition. the hotel offers a luggage scale in the lobby.

the breakfast had a wide selection of japanese and western options, and i especially liked the freshly baked bread. the staff was always smiling and ready to help with directions. the location was really convenient, close to many shops and restaurants.. it made exploring easy.
the room was quite small. i could hear some street noise at night, even though i was several floors up. the closest metro station was a bit of a walk, around 10-12 minutes.

the location was acceptable since it was near shinjuku station.
The room i was assigned was small. It was difficult to move around. the washroom seemed dated with stains on the toilet and bath curtain. i was expecting better for the price i paid.

i found the staff to be very accommodating. the hotel was conveniently located near many restaurants. there were also several shopping areas nearby. the location made things easy.
the room was very small even for standards in the country. during my visit, we stayed in several different hotels and this was the smallest. it was very difficult to open a single large luggage anywhere.

location is ok, but some issues persist

small roombathroom mold
The room felt cramped. Even with just a small suitcase, maneuvering was difficult. i booked a room advertised as renovated, yet the bathroom showed clear signs of age, especially around the silicone joints. mold was visible in the bathroom. most staff members primarily spoke japanese, requiring translation apps for basic communication.
