fantastic location

the location was perfect, very close to the centre. there were lots of cafes around. staff were helpful and sorted a taxi for us on our final morning. the hotel is warm and cozy.
i found no mirror in the room, and this was a problem. there is one in the back of one closet door, though. rooms are also quite dark with dark wallpaper.

The breakfast spread had good variety. I could have a very early breakfast before tours. the rooftop restaurant gives you a clear view of the acropolis. the staff at the restaurant were a credit.

The economy rooms are lovely. They feature clean, modern bathrooms. rooms have views of the acropolis from the window. comfy beds had extra bedding and pillows in the closet if needed. the water pressure in the bathroom was great.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much bother. they helped us book a taxi to piraeus port. they also let us leave our luggage with them for a day or two between bookings. staff knowledge on local wine choices was spot on.

the hotel's location was great for exploring. it was easy to walk to many historical sites.
the bathroom was small. it was impossible to shower without getting the whole space wet, and i even had to dry myself outside of the bathroom since there was no room inside.. the noise from the street at night made it hard to sleep.

i appreciated the hotel's central location. it was near the metro station. the rooftop bar had amazing views of the acropolis. i could easily walk to many attractions from the hotel. the staff was always ready to help with taxis.
the room decor seemed slightly old.

the hotel is close to ermou street, one of the main shopping streets, with two minimarkets nearby. there are numerous souvenir shops, restaurants, and pharmacies in the immediate vicinity. the cathedral is within walking distance.

the reception staff provided assistance with luggage storage before check-in. the staff always responded quickly when the air conditioning controller needed a new battery. a staff member offered help and suggestions for things to do during breakfast every morning.

the breakfast buffet included various choices, like coffee from a machine, ham, eggs, and greek yogurt. local fruits and bakeries were available. the rooftop bar opened at 6 pm. the rooftop restaurant provides a view of the acropolis.
