the location was very convenient. the hotel is near the boqueria market and las ramblas. we easily accessed transport connections. breakfast offered fresh options. staff helped with directions. check-in and check-out was efficient. the room was super clean. it was cleaned every day, which i appreciated.
The room had very cheap material. It had a strange smell.

I chose this spot for a little city trip. the beautiful room was spacious. i found the rooftop pool area quite adequate. all staff were friendly. They provided excellent service whenever i asked (which was great!).
the selection of breakfast cereals felt somewhat limited. it was a small thing, though.

the staff was helpful, providing directions and recommendations. i liked that the hotel offered luggage lockers for a small fee (it's €2) for early arrivals. the complimentary wine bottle was a nice touch and a welcome surprise. my room had two flat-screen tvs and a balcony.
The lifts were slow. They only hold a few people especially when you have luggage with you.

the hotel is right in the gothic quarter, very near las ramblas. many major spots are easily walkable from here. the area is a bit eerie at night, so caution is advised when walking alone (this is true of many city centre locations though).

fresh food perfect location
i stayed in a superior double room and it was awesome. the breakfast buffet had many options plus the food was so fresh. the location was perfect for walking to many attractions.
the bathtub leaked because of the shower design causing water on the floor. it was only a little bit though.

This hotel is close to las ramblas and many shops. the breakfast had a good selection with fresh options (i liked the fruit). our family room was spacious and included a balcony. the room was very clean. It was cleaned daily.

small room slow elevators
the staff seemed helpful enough, and the location was indeed close to las ramblas.
The room i got was small. it felt more like a storage closet than a hotel room, barely enough space to move around. the elevators were also a major problem. They were slow and could only fit a few people, made getting to the rooftop bar a real chore. the rooftop bar itself was nothing special.
