Charming Stay Near Saint-Germain
fabric walls heavy curtains comfortable mattress effective soundproofing
My room had fabric covered walls and heavy curtains. The interior decor was really good. The mattress offered excellent comfort. I found the soundproofing effective. The provided sheets and pillows were also very comfortable..
The staff was not always easily accessible, which sometimes presented a slight inconvenience.

pleasant staff cellar breakfast comfortable bed
i found the staff very pleasant and professional. the breakfast in the cellar was a notable experience, worth having at least once. my superior double or twin room was gorgeous and the bed was very comfortable. i appreciated that the staff allowed us to leave our bag at reception after checkout.
i found no coffee or tea in the room and had to pay for water.

the hotel is situated in a quiet area perfect for exploring the left bank. i found the metro stop to be just a short four-minute walk away. embassies populate this safe locale, especially at night.

decorated rooms private entry wonderful location lovely breakfast
I enjoyed the well-decorated rooms. The entry area seemed private. The location was wonderful. I also appreciated breakfast, it was really lovely.
The rooms close to the elevator can be slightly smaller.

I found a quiet room. The room had a king bed and soundproof windows, these features greatly improved my sleep. I appreciated the complimentary breakfast. There were various options including fresh pastries and eggs.
The elevator was a little slow sometimes.

a decent experience
convenient location parisian charm missing facilities unexpected charge
the location was quite convenient, near public transport. the interiors showed a distinct parisian charm, which i found excellent.
There were no coffee or tea facilities within the room. This was inconvenient. i was charged €9 for a bottle of water, a detail the staff neglected to mention at the time i requested it.

mixed bag. decent location, but some definite drawbacks
thin walls heating control
the location was pretty good. it allowed an easy stroll to various shops and restaurants.
i wasn't thrilled. the room was really hot. i couldn't figure out how to adjust the heating. plus, the walls seemed paper-thin, so noise from other rooms was a problem. not exactly relaxing.
