excessive charge bad impression
the hotel is near two train stations i found that acceptable
the extra charge of 1000 yen for being an hour late felt excessive i don't appreciate hotels adding extra fees as i am leaving it created a bad impression

mixed feelings about my stay
small room infrequent housekeeping limited english
the location was acceptable, close to subway lines, made getting around relatively easy.
The room was smaller than i anticipated (and i already had low expectations for space). also, housekeeping only happened every three days. the staff's limited english made communication difficult during check-in when i had a payment issue. They offered zero help.

Clean and convenient
luggage storage polite staff convenient location
The hotel is close to the station. Luggage storage before and after checkout was helpful. A onigiri stand is just outside the hotel. It is very convenient. The staff were polite and courteous.
The room was a bit small. There wasn't much space to put my clothes, like a wardrobe.

The hotel is very close to a subway station entrance. It is also near various points of interest, including the Kokugikan. This area has many places to eat. A Denny's is close by for American breakfasts.

small room uncomfortable pillows
the location was acceptable near train stations which helped with travel
i was disappointed with the size of the room it was much smaller than i expected based on the photos i saw online also the pillows were not comfortable i had trouble getting a good night's sleep because of them
