Great Location, Some Misses
great location easy access
I loved its location. Haji Lane and Arab Street were a few minutes by walk. I found shops and food very close. The MRT station was at the building's basement. I appreciated easy access to Singapore's culture. The pool had a great view and waiter service was available.
Breakfast was not changed during my 8 days there. I had the same items every morning. It felt a little boring. Smokers cannot smoke in the open-air areas, which I thought was inconvenient. I had to go more than 1 km away to smoke.

The hotel has a rooftop bar with a great view of the city. Breakfast has a great number of possibilities. A special thanks to the chef, who kindly remembered my daily request for eggs.

small room cramped space
the location near the train station was acceptable.
The room was a bit small. I expected more space at this price point and i felt a bit cramped.

Inconsistent Service and Room Issues
confusing lighting marked curtains
I encountered several problems . The in-room lighting system was unnecessarily complicated. There were four different settings, but they only worked on one side of the bed. Reading lights seemed to be missing. Cleanliness was an issue. There were marks on the curtains when I checked in, and they remained there throughout my stay. The hotel information was also outdated because the in-room leaflet mentioned discounts at nearby cafes, but one of the cafes said those offers did not exist.
