“Amistad Hotel's prime location, steps from Leidseplein and a short walk to major museums and Vondelpark, makes it ideal for exploring Amsterdam. I noted that the modern, clean rooms provide a comfortable base, complemented by a breakfast featuring cooked-to-order eggs and pancakes. The steep stairs typical of Amsterdam canal houses might pose a challenge for some.”

overall a decent stay
great location easy access friendly staff noisy street soft mattress no elevator
the location worked out great. it provided easy access to many restaurants. shops were also very close. the team reacted quickly when my arrival time changed. they gave me another check-in option. breakfasts were good and i really liked the staff.
my room faced the street, so i experienced a lot of noise. garbage trucks were especially loud beginning around 7 am. the mattress was very soft for me. this made it harder to sleep. there was no elevator so i carried luggage myself.
