Excellent Riverfront Stay
efficient check-in friendly staff ample breakfast
Check-in was efficient upon my arrival. The staff was both friendly and informative regarding the local area. I found the breakfast selection quite ample each morning. The bed offered great comfort. The hotel common space presented an AMAZING view.
The hotel entrance was not clearly visible upon my first arrival. Better signage could remedy this.

the location offered a SUPERB view of the river, offering easy access for waterfront walks just outside the hotel door, and i found the area to be very safe for exploring at any hour. public transport was close by.

I experienced a good breakfast experience each morning. There was a wide variety of food to choose from, all were fresh. The breakfast room was bright and inviting.

central location breakfast options stone work faulty drain unclear entrance staff availability
the location was fantastic. i found the breakfast options to be very good and quite satisfying. my room had exposed stone work and i really liked that feature.
the drain in the shower did not work well at all. the hotel entrance was not clearly marked (i walked past it the first time). i had some difficulty locating a staff member at times.

Some Issues, Despite Location
faulty air conditioning noisy room
I found a few things not quite right . The air conditioning did not work. This made the room uncomfortably warm, especially in the afternoons. A door to the balcony would not close completely. This let in noise from across the river late into the night. It was hard to sleep well.

I really liked the breakfast options. there was a good range of food. the bed was very comfortable. it was nice i could have tea and coffee anytime. the location was perfect. I was close to everything. the staff was helpful. the room was beautiful and sunny. i loved looking at the water, in all kinds of weather. the pillows were comfortable. it was a great place. the hotel was clean. it had beautiful views across to the port houses. everywhere was walkable. restaurants were very close by, which i appreciated. i found the river view room recommendable.
