stale air stained carpet
The location was great, very walkable to the main attractions.
The 'Beautiful Double Room' was a HUGE disappointment. The room lacked proper ventilation, so the air felt stale and stuffy. I WISH I had known this before. There were stains on the carpet. It was good.

Acceptable, but room issues
dirty bedroom smudge marks
The breakfast options were amazing. The staff could not do enough to help.
the bedroom was dirty, and linen had hair on it. I also noticed black smudge marks on the pillow, GROSS. the curtains did not close properly, so the room wasn't dark at night.

vintage charm shines
great location smiling staff
the hotel has a great location near many restaurants. the breakfast had a big variety of options (especially the fresh pastries). the staff was very helpful and always smiling, which i really valued. i was welcomed with mulled wine upon arrival.
the air conditioning heating did not work in my room. it also took about five minutes for hot water to come through the shower. the mirror in the bathroom was too high for shaving comfortably.

my room was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed and vintage decor. the room also included a coffee machine and capsules, a nice touch for morning coffee.

the reception staff provided a warm welcome with refreshing drinks. the staff offered assistance with directions and recommendations for local attractions. the daily room cleaning was thorough and consistent throughout my stay.
