i found the location quite convenient and my room was spacious. the common areas are comfortable. it was easy to talk with other travellers in the social spots. i enjoyed having several spaces to just kick back.
The room window faced a common area. Privacy was slightly reduced.

clean hostel with a communal vibe

the hostel included a rooftop patio and it was kept clean. i could easily walk to different museums, restaurants, and markets. the staff were friendly and very accommodating when i changed my dates. i was given a tab to use at the restaurant since they could not refund my lost night.
the room faced a common area and lacked privacy it was also quite loud the bed creaked constantly and was not very comfortable

The storage locker above the bed was always in the way. i could hear other people in my dorm experiencing the same thing. my room was close to the reception. The windows did not close properly. it was insanely loud all night because people spoke normally. the fan did not work when the main light was off. there was no a/c, despite claims.

I appreciated the cozy female dorm with privacy curtains. The shower offered good pressure and a great amount of hot water. I enjoyed a massage before my flight at the hostel. It was lovely.
The windows in the room are thin so I could hear the train passing by quite often at 4 am. This made it difficult to sleep which is a very important service a hostel should provide. The bar staff was nice, but ordering food took a long time even when there weren't many people.

The hostel is in a quiet area, but it is also a short ten to fifteen minute walk from downtown. Barrio Escalante is also conveniently located around the corner from the hotel which is great.

The staff here is friendly and helpful. They make an effort to connect guests to necessary transport links. The hostel offers free yoga and entertainment and also has quiet spots like the upstairs terrace. The kitchen is well equipped here too.

The hostel has a bar inside plus a whole area with tables and a foosball table. The bar organizes social events like a make-your-own-drink event which is a lot of fun. This is a great way to engage with other guests.
