noisy atrium outdated gym

I was frustrated by a couple of things. the room faced the atrium and it was surprisingly noisy. Doors slamming and voices echoed quite badly. it was hard to relax. also. the gym was pretty disappointing. It only had a couple of old machines and some free weights. we loved the location. but the experience could have been much better!

dingy appearance inconsistent service

The hotel location is good. Parliament hill is walkable.

the dining room had a dingy appearance, which i found disappointing. the bar advertised happy hour from 3 to 6, but i was charged full price for a beer and wine order. the barman initially claimed happy hour was only until 5, then changed his story when proven wrong (this inconsistency was frustrating).

Convenient location and friendly staff

central location helpful staff excellent service

the hotel was centrally located I could easily walk to many attractions. the staff were helpful especially at check-in and check-out. i found the in-house restaurant offered amazing food and the service was excellent. i also took advantage of the valet service and my car was clean upon its return which i appreciated.

the gym equipment looked quite run down I noticed a hole in the ceiling.

the room included a comfortable bed with fresh linens and sufficient pillows it also had a television with many channels and reliable wifi. climate control was easy to use with individual settings.

the lobby had a bright and cute atmosphere there was also a bistro popular with both hotel guests and locals. elevators were available providing quick access to each floor a games room provided some entertainment.

Fantastic Experience!

I enjoyed the cute lobby. Natural light streamed through the skylight. The menu at Cocotte was AMAZING!!! The restaurant and the hotel staff were consistently friendly and professional. My room was very clean and well equipped.

My room was on the 4th floor facing the street, and I heard noise from downstairs late at night. I could clearly hear people from the bar, and this happened every night of my stay. I was disappointed.

excellent location friendly service excellent food unreliable elevators small space high cost

The location was excellent. I walked to several attractions. The bistro Cocotte was convenient. The food there was REALLY excellent. The staff provided friendly service. I was impressed by their PROMPT attention.

The elevators were unreliable. I encountered issues with them several times. The gym was disappointing. There were limited options for my workout, and i feel the space was too small. The valet parking cost was HIGH.
