noise disruptionlimited storage
I didn't appreciate the lack of soundproofing. Noise from other guests was quite disruptive (even late at night). the room itself felt cramped and lacked adequate storage space for luggage. also, the breakfast selection seemed limited, especially if you don't eat meat (like me).

the pool is small. it can become crowded at times. the sun reaches the pool area for only a limited time each day

the location was acceptable, being a short walk to khao san road.
The pool turned out much smaller than it was in the pictures. A classic bait and switch. the room rate felt excessive, considering many guests stay in dorms, it felt more like an upscale hostel than a place i paid so much for. also, the decor seemed a bit tired, needing some sprucing up.
