Kellys Hotel - A 16-room boutique property in Dublin's Creative Quarter with French bistro dining and historic architecture

Located on three floors of a historic building in Dublin's Creative Quarter, this adults-only Dublin hotel features 16 individually designed rooms with custom-made mattresses, Nespresso machines, and large Smart TVs. The minimalist property sits above the trendy 'Secret Bar' on Fade Street, with L'Gueuleton French bistro serving daily breakfast from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Kellys Hotel combines exposed brick walls, industrial beams, and copper ceilings with dark wood floors throughout its common areas. Each room includes high-speed WiFi, modern bathrooms, and in-room safes. A breezeway lined with trees leads guests to the hotel's entrance at South Great Georges Street and Fade Street. The property stands just 2 minutes' walk from Grafton Street and Temple Bar, with St. Stephen's Green and Dublinia both 1640.4 ft away.

Pros

Connected to three distinct dining venues: L'Gueuleton bistro, the Bar With No Name, and Hogans pub

Historic building features including brick walls and industrial architecture

Tree-lined breezeway entrance in the Creative Quarter

Terrace space available for outdoor relaxation

Cons

No elevator access to upper floors

Rooms are not soundproofed from street noise

“This adults-only boutique in central Dublin has a lively bar scene. Rooms are themed, though some are up several flights. I think the location near Grafton Street makes it ideal for travelers wanting an urban experience with character.”

foul smellplumbing problems
The shower drain had a really foul smell (i actually gagged a few times). it was also annoying that the cold water in the sink was always warm. You needed to run it for at least fifteen minutes to get cold water. clearly, there are plumbing problems that need addressing. this kind of thing makes me question the overall hygiene and upkeep of the hotel.

The staff members were helpful. The location was great. It was near many pubs. The breakfast was fabulous. I appreciated the breakfast location, it was in a local restaurant.
My room was noisy. I think the windows need updating. I requested new bed sheets. I did not receive them during my three-night stay.

The room was ready upon our early arrival, a lovely surprise. i found discount parking nearby only a few minutes away. This detail really eased my travel worries. the staff were kind and efficient. i received a complimentary breakfast which i thought was a very tender touch.
The street got busy at night. I could hear noise from the bar downstairs until late.
