lovely and convenient!
plentiful breakfast central location self check-in
i found the breakfast plentiful and delicious. i appreciated using the kitchen at different times during the day to prepare lunches. the location is very central. i found free parking nearby. you check yourself in and out, which suited me just fine!
the only minor downside was a bit of condensation on the windows.

the room included fresh towels and a dryer. there were also cabinets for storage, useful. plus, the ability to adjust the heating was wonderful because i could make the room perfectly cozy and comfortable.

The guesthouse is located directly in front of the main church. it's super close to hallgrímskirkja. the main rainbow walk, restaurants, and shops are only a few minutes further away. This was fantastic!

the location was quite central. i found the staff helpful with my travel queries. the breakfast included tasty homemade bread.

paper thin walls uncleaned bathroom
The room i got was in a separate building (i wish i knew that beforehand). it felt more like an apartment. The guesthouse just owned one unit with rooms. the shared bathroom wasn't cleaned once so the trash really piled up (lovely!). the walls were also paper thin, so i could hear everything.

The staff was kind. the location provides easy access to downtown. breakfast was included. I found this a great addition.
laundry was advertised, but the process was not clear. the room was smaller than i expected. the bathroom cleanliness was not great.

dirty bathroom bathroom update
the location was acceptable, near the main attractions.
the family room was not very good. the shared bathroom was dirty and only one was available for several rooms. it really smelled bad and needs an update.

sulfur smell damp bathroom
The most notable issue was the sulfur smell from the hot water, it pervaded the bathroom. A more frequent cleaning schedule is necessary for the shared bathroom. I found it consistently damp. the bed were too small and I did not have a restful sleep. This greatly detracted from my overall experience at this hotel.
