“I noted how central it is; from here, landmarks like Hallgrímskirkja are just a short walk. The inclusion of practical amenities such as a kettle, microwave, and fridge in the rooms adds considerable value, especially considering the price point, in my opinion. For travelers seeking a conveniently located and functional base in Reykjavik, this guesthouse presents a worthwhile option.”

Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Guesthouse Andrea is praised for its excellent location, particularly its proximity to Hallgrímskirkja church and convenient access to bus stops for tours and airport shuttles. Guests frequently mention the included breakfast, which features options like bread, cheese, boiled eggs, cereal, and coffee. The availability of a kitchen with a microwave and hot water for tea is generally appreciated; however, some guests have found the breakfast selection to be somewhat limited compared to other Scandinavian options. a calm stay

fresh bread self check-in
The location is amazing. Hallgrímskirkja church is across the street. the breakfast had freshly baked bread and great coffee. self check-in was available in the middle of the night, convenient. parking in front of the building was also available.
The room was very small, at less than 4 square meters, and this made it difficult to open my bag. the window could not be fully closed, a disadvantage during a storm. wi-fi was poor and slow. It constantly reconnected.
Location
9/10
the guesthouse is very close to the city center. it is near hallgrímskirkja church and bus station 8, a place with accessible drop-in and drop-off services. several restaurants and shops are located nearby.
Rooms
8/10
the studio includes a kitchen area. some apartments only have equipment for making tea or coffee. the room was clean and it was located in the attic, providing isolation from other rooms.

My room was small. I could barely open my bag without blocking the door. the bed was old and very uncomfortable. the window didn't fully close, a problem during a storm.
