Charming stay in a historic setting
central location helpful staff quality buffet modern room design
The location was central allowing easy access to key areas. I found the staff very helpful and polite making check-in smooth. The breakfast and dinner included a variety of good quality options and the staff worked hard to replenish the buffet even during busy times (charmed). The design of the rooms felt modern and well-appointed.
The toilet doors did not offer much noise reduction, something i found slightly inconvenient.

The hotel is within easy walking distance of the dockside waterfront. Kampi is also easily accessible. Bulevardi offers plenty of transport options and the Metro is at Kampi.

All staff members are helpful and polite. The staff works hard to replenish items. This is especially noticeable at very busy times. I appreciated their dedication.

central location good selection daily menu main course
The location was close to the city center. It made getting around easy. Breakfast had a good selection. Dinner had a fixed daily menu. It had soup, salad, and a main course.
The shower had a strange design with transparent walls connected to the room. This design may feel like it lacks privacy.

The breakfast buffet included a large selection of local items. Dinner was included and well cooked, but desserts were not always available. Afternoon fika was a nice touch, it included dessert, coffee, and tea.

The breakfast had a great variety. It was delicious. The building is beautiful inside and out. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
The room lacked a fridge. I missed having that. The room also lacked kleenex. The bathroom floor was REALLY slippery. The shower was very narrow.

great variety cosy library
the breakfast was excellent with a great variety of options. i liked the library room. i appreciated the easy walking distance to the city centre and great cafes nearby.
the bathroom was small. it felt uncomfortable. a big disadvantage was the non daily cleaning of the room.

acceptable hotel stay
friendly staff meals variety poor service customer service
the hotel is in a nice building in the design district. the staff were friendly, and tram and bus stops are nearby (a great convenience). breakfast and dinner included in the room price is a real bonus. i also found most of the meals to be very good with plenty of variety.
the receptionist was busy helping someone plan a trip. i thought they urgently needed training in basic customer service. after having stayed at this hotel, this will be my last time i stay here (a bit disappointing).
