an okay stay, some things to consider
great location private bathroom shower grime missing pillow
the location is fantastic, especially for getting around. victoria station and victoria place are super close. i had a standard double room with a private bathroom, exactly what i wanted.
The room wasn't the cleanest, to be honest. there was a little grime around the shower, which i didn't love. also, it would have been nice to have an extra pillow on the bed. It was a minor inconvenience.

charmed by basic
clean linen decent heat functional bathroom extra attention
the room was proper clean. linen had a decent feel to it. the room itself gave off good heat. bathroom, while small, did its job. it could use some extra attention around the shower though.
i wish there was an extra pillow on the bed. minor thing but i am a real pillow guy.

finding the hotel was not hard. it sits in a quiet area and the only sounds were from the underground below, as expected. the convenience of being close to transportation and key sites.

The location is indeed quite good. I found the proximity to Victoria Station very convenient (especially with luggage). The room was clean and adequately furnished for a short stay.

basic stay with easy access
helpful staff transport information
i found the staff helpful as they allowed us to drop our luggage before check-in. they also provided transport information to the airport. i booked a standard twin room, and it had two single beds as expected.
the shower did not get hot one evening, and i had to inform the receptionist. he left the reception area for ten minutes to reset the boiler. i had to wait a long time and could not shower that evening.

the room had basic amenities including a mini fridge.. a kettle was available for making tea and coffee. the beds were satisfactory for sleeping.

staff members assisted with luggage storage prior to check-in. the reception provided transport details to the airport, very helpful for planning my departure. they promptly addressed my inquiries.

while the hotel does not have its own restaurant, there are many breakfast places and pubs nearby. this made it easy to find dining options.

filthy wall bad wifi
The location was good, near the Victoria coach station.
The room was NOT clean. I found cobwebs in the corners, and the walls were quite filthy. The TV didn't connect to many channels, and the WiFi was a joke (it just didn't work).
