central location wins!
main street polite staff
the location was fantastic, really central. it was just off the main street and a quick walk to placa do comercio. there were many restaurants and mini markets nearby, convenient. the staff were polite, including receptionists, breakfast staff and cleaners.
my room was small. i felt that removing the cabinet right when you open the door would provide more space. a foldable table might be better in that tight space too. i couldn't fully open my luggages because there was no space.

the staff booked a cab for me. the driver came into the hotel on time to find me. the staff gave me a single room with a double bed upon arrival, a bonus.

the hotel is in a walking area of downtown. be aware there is no elevator service if you are above the fourth floor, which i was. we put our luggage on the elevator and carried it up.

the hotel is close to the square and lively neighborhood. it is within walking distance to many famous tourist destinations. the location is wonderful for walking, and there is access to anything you wish.
